I know this has been a while, but on Sept 28, 17, another very memorable day for me - it was my second needle felting class. (After almost a whole year, oops! Time flies while I was having so much fun learning new sports this summer. )
It was very nice to see some old faces in this class and got some "complains" of people has been waiting for the second class. It is probably the best complains I personally ever received!
With a little more experience from my last one, my second lesson went better. I got more creative too on providing different color theme for each person to choose from. After all, crafting is about creating!
And this time, I focus on just one same project we all do together, and I provided some different pumpkins face for everyone's reference, so we don't do cookie cutter projects. I love seeing the characters coming from each person, based by the smiley, or evil faces they put on the pumpkins. I was so glad for what the reference patterns provided - imaginations, and I was well inspired by that. What a fun night!
Again, thanks for the meetup group and all the people that joined this class. You guys are awesome! It is you who motivated me to create more, to experiment more techniques, and to share with everyone. I came to the group thinking I’ll just learn a thing or two and to meet some like minded people. Never would I thought of one day I'll be the one teaching!
Before I go, I would also like to shout out for my friend - Chenai who has been such a supporter for my hobby! We are gonna make more little felted friends together. ( hello kitty for you! ;) )
Look at our finished pumpkins for the class!
Love that everyone has their own style.
